This page explains which personal data ProductBuilder collects, why, how long we keep it, and what your rights are. We follow the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Questions? Email [email protected].

What we collect

On the waiting list: your email address, and if you give them, your name, your company and what you want to build. With an account: your name, email address, photo and time zone, and everything you put in your projects. To keep the service safe and working: technical data such as your IP address, your browser, and when you logged in.

Why we use it

To let you in from the waiting list and give you the service you asked for (our agreement with you). To keep the service secure, find errors and improve it (our legitimate interest). To send you emails about your account, such as login codes. And to meet our legal obligations, such as keeping invoices.

AI

When you use the chat or an Improve button, the text it needs is sent to an AI model (Google Gemini, hosted in Europe) to make the answer. It is not used to train those models.

Who we share it with

Only with the companies that help us run ProductBuilder: hosting (Amazon Web Services, Paris), email delivery (SendGrid), domains and DNS (Gandi, Cloudflare), code hosting (GitHub) and AI (Google Cloud). Each works under a data processing agreement. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

The waiting list: until you're let in, or until you ask us to remove you. Your account: as long as it exists. After you delete it, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except what the law requires us to keep, such as invoices for seven years.

Your rights

You can see, correct, export or delete your data, and object to how we use it. Email [email protected] and we answer within 30 days. You can also file a complaint with your national data protection authority; in Belgium that's the Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.
